Why wool felt? What are the benefits?

Wool felt is an entirely natural material with many positive effects. It is permeable and purifies the air. Felt balances humidity, insulates against cold and heat, repels dirt and absorbs unpleasant odours. Furthermore, Merino wool felt is particularly kind to human skin. Its sound-absorbing properties ensure tranquillity and improve indoor acoustics.

How do I keep my item looking as new?

Hand-wash (recommended):

Clean it using water and a soft brush with some shampoo or wool detergent. Rinse off soap, place flat on a towel and leave to dry (do not wring). Use a steam iron at low temperature to smooth the surface afterwards.

Please make sure you only use fat-replenishing soap, shampoo or wool detergent, so that the natural fat content of the wool remains unchanged. The fat (lanolin) in the wool works as a natural stain protector and ensures dirt and liquids are absorbed only very slowly.

Dry-cleaning: Most items can also be dry-cleaned.

How do you ship your merchandise?

We fulfil our orders through the Australia Post mail network. Australia Post offers a 100% carbon neutral delivery service and as such fully aligned with the values that drive us here at Felt & Co.

How fast do you fulfil the order?

We aim to ship your order on the same or next business day following your order to ensure the wait for your new favourite pieces is as short as possible.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, Felt & Co. are an Australian business and currently ship to Australia and New Zealand. If you are located in New Zealand simply select your country during Checkout and complete your order. 

Don't worry if you are located outside our current delivery range. We are planning on extending to other countries shortly. Please sign up to our newsletter to be kept up to date on the roll out and when we are available in your country.

Do you offer a pick up service?

No, we don't offer a pick up service. Felt & Co. are a pure online business and neither have a store front nor offer a pick up service. All orders are to be placed online and fulfilled through the postal system.

Do you offer Express Post?

Yes, we offer Express Post for Australia and New Zealand. Find out about our rates here.

How will my order be packed?

Felt & Co. send orders in protective packaging using envelopes, satchels or boxes. All items are wrapped carefully to ensure they get to you in pristine condition. 

Can I return items ordered?

Yes, you can! Felt & Co. value the happiness of its customers and understand that circumstances can change resulting in the wish to return an item. This is why we offer 'Change of Mind' returns. You find all relevant information in our Returns Policy.
